Optics / Optik
First of all, I noticed the rather strongly oxidized Anila, which suggests a longer aging. The dull wrapper looks greasy despite the age and has a fine structure. Visually, the wrapper appears at first glance coarse, but this is an optical illusion.
Als erstes fiel mir die recht stark oxidierte Anila auf, welche eine längere Reifung erahnen lässt. Das matte Deckblatt wirkt trotz des Alters speckig und weist eine feine Struktur auf. Optisch wirkt das Deckblatt auf den ersten Blick grob, was aber eine optische Täuschung ist.
Coldsmell / Kaltgeruch:
The coldsmell before lighting the cigar is deliciously spicy. Smells of forest soil, roasted hazelnuts and dark chocolate dominate the foreground. I also noticed smells of dried fruits and green tea.
Der Kaltgeruch vor dem Anzünden kommt lecker würzig daher. Es dominieren Gerüche nach Waldboden gerösteter Haselnuss und dunkler Schokolade. Weiterhin habe ich Gerüche nach Trockenobst und grünem Tee festgestellt.
1st third / 1. Drittel:
The cigar starts amazingly strong. Medium roasted aromas and black coffee forms the basis of aromas, which lasts until the very end. Nevertheless, the cigar appears mild and creamy, but at the same time tart. This forms an interesting contrast. This is also reflected in aromas of herbs, dried fruit and butter.
Die Zigarre startet erstaunlich kräftig. Mittlere Röstaromen und schwarzer Kaffee bilden das Aromenfundament, welches bis zum Schluss anhält. Dennoch erscheint die Zigarre mild und cremig, jedoch gleichzeitig herb, was einen interessanten Kontrast bildet. Das spiegelt sich auch in Aromen nach Kräutern, Trockenobst und Butter wider.
2nd third / 2. Drittel:
In the course of the cigar remains quite strong-aromatic. Woody, with distinct aromas of vanilla. In addition, the Panetelas seems velvety and round.
Im weiteren Verlauf bleibt die Zigarre recht kräftig. Holzig, mit deutlichen Aromen von Vanille. Darüber hinaus wirkt die Panetelas samtig und rund.
3rd third / 3. Drittel:
Towards the end, the roasted aromas increase again vigorously. The coffee aromas are turning towards espresso. The cigar seems strong-woody with slight hints of resin. Minimal bitter on the last few drawes.
Zum Ende hin nehmen die Röstaromen noch einmal kräftig zu. Die Kaffeearomen wandeln sich in Richtung Espresso. Die Zigarre wirkt kräftig-holzig mit leichten Anklängen von Harz. Auf den letzten Zügen minimal bitter.
