Appearance / Optik:
The wrapper is slightly matte and dark Maduro-colored with hardly any visible veins. The head appears a bit unevenly finished.

Das Deckblatt ist leicht matt und Maduro-dunkel, mit kaum sichtbaren Blattadern. Der Kopf wirkt etwas ungleichmäßig gefertigt.

Cold Draw / Kaltgeruch:
Woody and spicy notes dominate, with impressions of rye bread, sourdough and burnt caramel.

Holzig und würzig, dazu Aromen von Schwarzbrot, Sauerteig und verbranntem Karamell.

First Third / 1. Drittel:
Starts off with strong spiciness. Notes of leather and wood, rounded off by a subtle sweetness.

Startet kräftig würzig. Aromen von Leder und Holz, abgerundet durch eine leichte Süße.

Second Third / 2. Drittel:
Salty notes emerge. The wood becomes more prominent. The spiciness continues with a balanced progression.

Aufkommende Salzigkeit, stärker werdende Holznoten. Fortlaufend würzig mit ausgewogenem Aromenverlauf.

Final Third / 3. Drittel:
Aromatic change toward sweetness. Notes reminiscent of rye bread, burnt sugar, coffee and umami. Slight tunneling observed.

Wechsel der Aromen in Richtung süßlich. Erinnerung an Schwarzbrot, gebrannten Zucker, Kaffee und Umami. Leider etwas Tunnelbrand.

Ash / Asche:
The ash is flaky, dark mottled and lacks firmness. In my opinion, not very appealing.

Flockige, dunkel gescheckte Asche mit sehr geringer Festigkeit. In meinen Augen etwas unschön.

Conclusion / Fazit:
A typically bold cigar from Partagás, offering a spicy and evolving flavor profile. With a boxing date of 11/2024, it is approximately 6 months old, showing early depth and character that could benefit from further aging.

Partagás-typisch eine recht kräftige Zigarre mit würzigem Aromenverlauf. Mit einem Boxing Date von 11/2024 ist sie etwa 6 Monate alt und zeigt bereits eine schöne Tiefe. Eine längere Lagerung könnte sie noch harmonischer machen.

Partagás - Petit Bouquets (2002)

Optics / Optik:
Optically the cigar hasn't changed much in the last 7 years since the last tasting. The clearly aged wrapper is dull and shows a clear veining. From time to time, a slight shadow suggests earlier greasiness.

Optisch hat sich die Zigarre in den letzten 7 Jahren seit dem letzten Tasting nicht sonderlich verändert. Das deutlich gealterte Deckblatt ist matt weist eine deutliche Äderung auf. Ab und zu lässt ein leichter Schatten auf eine frühere Speckigkeit schließen.

Cold smell / Kaltgeruch:
The cold smell is still surprisingly fresh. Primarily sweet, I notice smells as if from a flower meadow. I also perceive aromas of overripe fruits. I feel reminded of apples and pears.
But I don't find any nutty aromas this time.

Der Kaltgeruch wirkt nach wie vor erstaunlich frisch. Primär süßlich nehme ich Gerüche wie von einer Blumenwiese wahr. Weiterhin nehme ich Aromen nach überreifem Obst wahr. Ich fühle mich an Äpfel und Birnen erinnert.
Nussige Aromen finde ich dieses Mal nicht.

1st third / 1. Drittel:
Also the aromas in the smoke have not changed much over the past 7 years. The 17 year old cigar starts quite strong. My first impression reminds me again of dusty clay. Beside a light note of (garden-)herbs, I notice clear nutty aromas. Nevertheless a creamy smoking pleasure.

Auch die Aromen im Rauch haben sich die vergangenen 7 Jahre kaum geändert. Die 17 Jahre alte Zigarre beginnt recht kräftig. Mein erster Eindruck erinnert mich wieder an staubige Erde. Neben einer leichten (Garten-)Kräuternote nehme ich deutliche Nussaromen wahr. Trotz allem ein cremiger Rauchgenuss.

2nd third / 2. Drittel:
From the half, woody aromas with their slight bitterness dominate the smoke. The creaminess decreases considerably and aromas of laurel and black pepper appear.

Ab der Mitte dominieren holzige Aromen mit ihrer leichten Bitterkeit den Rauch. Die Cremigkeit nimmt deutlich ab und es kommen Aromen nach Lorbeer und etwas schwarzem Pfeffer auf.

3rd third / 3. Drittel:
Towards the end, clear roasted aromas of toast and coffee dominate. But also the herbal notes from the middle remain perceptible until the end.
Once again I am surprised how many different aromas fit into such a small cigar.


Gegen Ende dominieren deutliche Röstaromen nach Toast und Kaffee. Aber auch die Kräuternoten aus der Mitte bleiben bis zum Schluss wahrnehmbar.
Ich bin wieder einmal überrascht, wieviel verschiedene Aromen in so eine kleine Zigarre passen.

Partagás - Chicos

Optics / Optik:
Although the Chicos is a machine-made cigarillo, it has a quite appealing exterior. The wrapper has a fine structure, but is partly wrinkled due to the production process.

Obwohl es sich bei der Chicos um einen maschinengefertigten Zigarillo handelt, verfügt sie über ein recht ansprechendes Äußeres. Das Deckblatt weist an sich eine feine Struktur auf, ist jedoch fertigungsbedingt teilweise faltig angebracht.

Smoking profile / Rauchverlauf:
The small cigar starts directly with cubatypical aromas of wood and leather. Furthermore, the aroma reminds me of an old wardrobe. That sounds worse now than it is. I am thinking here of my grandmother's wardrobe. It always smelled slightly like a mixture of stale air, dry wood and violets.
The aroma remains the same over the entire smoke. However, I don't expect any change in the aroma of a machine-made shortfiller.

Die kleine Zigarre startet direkt mit kubatypischen Aromen nach Holz und Leder. Weiterhin fühle ich mich vom Aroma her an einen alten Kleiderschrank erinnert. Das klingt jetzt schlimmer als es ist. Ich denke hier konkret an der Kleiderschrank meiner Großmutter. Dieser roch immer leicht nach einer Mischung nach abgestandener Luft, trockenem Holz und Veilchen(weichspühler).
Das Aroma bleibt über den Rauchverlauf hinweg gleich. Allerdings erwarte ich bei einem maschinengefertigte Shortfiller diesbezüglich keinerlei Aromenveränderung.

My last Partagás - Belvederes (Feb 1999)

On this lovely cigar I had already written a tasting at the end of 2011. And although more than 4 years have passed, the cigar hasn't lost any of its flavors. My current impressions of flavors correspond to the former Tastings. In itself, this amazes me something. I would have expected something milder flavors. Just a pity that this time it was the last cigar out of the box.

Zu dieser netten Zigarre hatte ich bereits Ende 2011 ein Tasting geschrieben. Und obwohl seit dem über 4 Jahre vergangen sind, hat die Zigarre in keiner Weise etwas von ihren Aromen verloren. Meine jetzigen Aromeneindrücke entsprechen den des damalige Tastings. An sich erstaunt mich das etwas, hätte ich doch etwas mildere Aromen erwartet. Nur schade, dass es sich dieses Mal um die letzte Zigarre der Kiste gehandelt hat.

Partagás - C No. 1 (2011)

Optics / Optik
"Perfect" is the shortest possible description of these really very attractive cigar. The impeccable, colorado-maduro colored wrapper has no visible veins. It is dyed very evenly and has a tasty-greasy appearance.

"Perfekt" ist die kürzest mögliche Beschreibung dieser wirklich sehr ansprechenden Zigarre. Das makellose, colorado-madurofarbene Deckblatt weist keine sichtbaren Adern auf. Es ist sehr gleichmäßig gefärbt und verfügt über ein appetitlich-speckiges Aussehen.

Coldsmell / Kaltgeruch:
The first impression is chocolaty-sweet. Furthermore aromas of hazelnut and roasted almonds are detectable, which increase the anticipation.

Der erste Eindruck ist schokoladig-süß. Weiterhin sind Aromen von Haselnuss und gebrannten Mandeln feststellbar, die die Vorfreude weiter erhöhen.

1st third / 1. Drittel:
The cigar start with a kind of nutty flavors. Tie in the leathery aromas in the background. Thus forms a tendency sweetish foundation that I rather rare find at Partagás. So it's no longer surprised that emerge gradually chocolate flavors. This elude increasingly tart leather flavors and a slightly woody aftertaste.

Die Zigarre starten mit eher nussigen Aromen. Dazu passen die ledrigen Aromen im Hintergrund. So bildet sich ein tendenziell süßliches Fundament, welches ich bei Partagás eher selten finde. So überrascht es auch nicht mehr, dass nach und nach Schokoladenaromen hervortreten. Diese weichen jedoch zunehmend herben Lederaromen und einem leicht holzigen Nachklang.

2nd third / 2. Drittel:
This leather aromas also constitute the foundation in the middle section. The cigar has become tart, but without losing the nutty flavors. The initial sweetness is completely gone. The cigar is quite complex here.

Diese Lederaromen bilden auch das Fundament im mittleren Abschnitt. Die Zigarre ist herber geworden, ohne jedoch die nussigen Aromen zu verlieren. Die anfängliche Süße ist vollständig verschwunden. Die Zigarre ist auch hier recht komplex.

3rd third / 3. Drittel:
In the last third to light come ever more cuba typical flavors. Leather and wood form the foundation. Here paired with spicy garden herbs. The sweet, nutty flavors are completely gone. While the beginning was not typical of a Partagás, the end is through and through a Partagás.

Im letzten Drittel kommen immer mehr kubatypische Aromen zum Vorschein. Leder und Holz bilden das Fundament. Hier gepaart mit würzigen Gartenkräutern. Die süßen, nussigen Aromen sind vollständig verschwunden. Während der Anfang für eine Partagás eher untypisch war, ist das Ende durch und durch Partagás.

Conclusion / Fazit:
Cigars of Colleción Habanos, also called bookcigars, are always a good choice and always a treat.

Die Zigarren der Colleción Habanos, auch Buchzigarren genannt, sind immer eine gute Wahl und durch und durch etwas Besonderes.

Victorinox Cigar 36 in Partagás-Optik

After Chris from Chris Custom Works already has published a Victorinox Cigar 36 in Hoyo de Monterrey optics, the brand new Victorinox Cigar 36 – Partagás Edition is now released. Again a very nice mod, on which a collector will certainly have a lot of joy. Even this time the knive is a unique piece.

Nachdem Chris von Chris Custom Works bereits ein Victorinox Cigar 36 in Hoyo de Monterrey-Optik veröffentlicht hat, ist nun das ganz neue Victorinox Cigar 36 – Partagás Edition erschienen. Wieder ein sehr schöner Mod, an dem ein Sammler sicherlich viel Freude haben wird. Denn auch dieses Mal handelt es sich um ein Einzelstück.

Partagás - D No. 5 EL 2008

Optics / Optik:
The cigar has a beautiful, greasy colorado wrapper. It has a fine structure without significant veins. Unfortunately, a few bumps from the used binder are visible. Nevertheless, the cigar looks very appetizing.

Die Zigarre hat ein wunderschönes, speckiges Colorado-Deckblatt. Es hat eine feine Struktur ohne nennenswerte Adern. Leider drücken sich ein paar Unebenheiten vom verwendeten Umblatt durch. Dennoch wirkt die Zigarre äußerst appetitlich.

Coldsmell / Kaltgeruch
The first thing I notice flowery aromas that remind me of roses. The rest of the flavors fade into the background. Aromas of freshly roasted hazelnut and slightly woody aromas form a pleasant contrast to the superficial sweetness.

Als erstes fallen mir blumige Aromen auf, die mich an Rosen erinnern. Die restlichen Aromen treten dem gegenüber in den Hintergrund. Hier bilden Aromen nach frisch gerösteter Haselnuss und leicht holzige Aromen einen angenehmen Kontrast zur vordergründigen Süße.

1st third / 1. Drittel:
The small EL starts right neat. Strong woody aromas dominate from the beginning and remind you of sawdust. I'm inspired by a nutty component like chestnut.

Die kleine EL startet direkt ordentlich durch. Kräftig holzige Aromen dominieren von Anfang an und erinnern an Sägespäne. Dazu kommt eine nussige Komponente nach Kastanie.

2nd third / 2. Drittel:
Even in the middle part, the Cuban not deny their origins. The wood flavors are replaced by spicy aromas of leather and hazelnut shell. Medium-strong aromas of toast and black tea form an aromatic component.

Auch im mittleren Teil kann die Kubanerin ihre Herkunft nicht verleugnen. Die Holzaromen werden durch würzige Aromen nach Leder und Haselnussschale abgelöst. Mittelstarke Röstaromen und schwarzer Tee bilden eine aromatische Komponente.

3rd third / 3. Drittel:
Toward the end, woody and earthy flavors dominate again. Here, however, they appear much drier. Also the leather aroma from the middle part can be found here in a dry expression.

Zum Ende hin dominieren wieder holzig-erdige Aromen. Hier erscheinen sie jedoch deutlich trockener. Aber auch das Lederaroma aus dem Mittelteil findet sich hier in einer trockenen Ausprägung.

Burning, ash / Abbrand, Asche:
The cigar burned slightly wrong. Only in the last third had to be lit from time to time. Here the wrapper had slightly reduced fire properties.
There is not much to say about the medium-gray, slightly cracked ash. She had a good stability and was as aspected.

Die Zigarre brannte minimal schief ab. Lediglich im letzten Drittel musste ab und zu nachgezündet werden. Hier wies das Deckblatt etwas verminderte Brandeigenschaften auf.
Über die mittelgraue, minimal rissige Asche ist nicht viel zu sagen. Sie war von guter Stabilität und auch sonst erwartungsgemäß.

Conclusion / Fazit:
No doubt, the D No. 5 is a typical cuban Cigar and a worthy cigar to celebrate today the World No Tobacco Day 2013.

Keine Frage, die D No. 5 ist eine typische Kubanerin und eine würdige Zigarre, um den heutigen Weltnichtrauchertag 2013 zu begehen.

Habanos expert contest 2013 - Cigar No. 6861

The Habanos expert contest regularly take place since 2003. Organiser of the contest is the association "Art of smoke". The task at the contest is to recognize a Cuban cigar by measuring, smell and taste, which was freed from the cigar ring.
Participation is open to all cigar lovers from Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Der Habanos-Experten-Wettbewerb wird seit 2003 regelmäßig veranstaltet. Ausrichter ist der Verein "Art of smoke".
Beim Wettbewerb geht es darum, eine kubanische Zigarre, die vom Zigarrenring befreit wurde, durch Messen, Riechen und Schmecken zu erkennen.
Teilnehmen können alle Zigarrenfreunde aus Deutschland, der Schweiz und aus Österreich.

Optics / Optik:
The beautiful, greasy topsheet has some fermentation errors. Very fine structure without any veins. The mouthpiece shows strong efflorescence. Slightly efflorescence on a full side. Maybe the top? The surface has a lot of unevenness from the inside.

Schönes, speckiges Deckblatt, welches jedoch einige Fermentationsfehler aufweist. Sehr feine Struktur ohne Adern. Am Mundstück recht starke Ausblühungen. Leicht Ausblühungen auf einer kompletten Seite. Vielleicht die Oberseite? Aus der Puppe drücken sich einzelne Unebenheiten durch.

Coldsmell / Kaltgeruch:
Very mild and gentle cold smell. Slight hints of milk chocolate and hazelnut.

Sehr milder und sanfter Kaltgeruch. Leichte Anklänge von Milchkakao und Haselnuss.

1st third / 1. Drittel:
First, I've noticed the extremely light draw. This suggests, together with the soft texture on relatively little tobacco.
The cigar starts right-present with bitter notes. This set onto the tongue and stay there present for a long time. Later on woody flavors were added. Together with the bitter notes the aroma reminds to bark of old oak. Otherwise only very few flavors.

Als erstes fällt der extrem leichte Zug auf. Das lässt zusammen mit der weichen Struktur auf relativ wenig Tabak schließen.
Die Zigarre startet mit recht präsenten Bitternoten. Diese legen sich auf die Zunge und bleiben dort recht lange präsent. Später kommen holzig Aromen hinzu, die zusammen mit den Bitternoten an Eichenrinde erinnern. Sonst kaum feststellbare Aromen.

2nd third / 2. Drittel:
Also in the middle the wooden flavors dominate the Cigar. The bitter notes are a bit weaken, but still detectable. Otherwise, no variation with the flavor compared to the first third.

Auch in der Mitte dominieren hölzerne Aromen. Die Bitternoten schwächen sich zwar etwas ab, sind aber immer noch feststellbar. Sonst bietet sich wenig Abwechslung gegenüber dem ersten Drittel.

3rd third / 3. Drittel:
Only towards the end, the cigar develops flavors that go beyond bitter oak. At this time aromas of black coffee and dark caramel were added. Nevertheless predominates the strong tart impressions.

Erst zum Ende hin entwickelt die Zigarre Aromen, die über herbes Eichenholz hinaus gehen. Hier kommen Aromen nach schwarzem Kaffee und dunkles Karamell hinzu. Dennoch überwiegen die kräftig-herben Eindrücke.

Burning, ash / Abbrand, Asche:
Medium gray ash with good stability. Even structure, finely cracked surface. Flat firecone.
The cigar burns quite evenly, contrary to the first fears.

Mittelgraue Asche mit guter Stabilität. Flach ausgebildeter Glutkegel. Gleichmäßig feinrissige Oberfläche.
Die Zigarre brennt, entgegen der ersten Befürchtung recht gleichmäßig ab.

Conclusion / Fazit:

Partagás - Partagás de Luxe (2002)

Longfiller, totalmente a mano, tubo

Optics:
The cigar is dressed in a dull colorado. This sleek wrapper shows only a slight veining.

Cold smell:
In the foreground a floral aromatic smell of rose and orchid is noticeable. This rather rare feeling confused a little at first. Finally, I expected more flavors of chocolate and hazelnut, which are in place, but only subtly.

1st third:
The Cuban cigar starts typically quite earthy. But instead of woody notes mineral impressions are perceived, that reminds of calcium.

2nd third:
Towards th mids the cigar becomes sweeter. Kind of Vanilla and fine hazelnut chocolate. Furthermore fruity and floral (wildflowers). As a contrast, a slight peat aroma.

3rd third:
At the end of the cigar becomes woody again. But also somewhat smoky. One gets the impression of scorched wood. Finally I find the missing earthy impressions. Cardamom forms a spicy facet.

Strength:
Although the cigar started mild, it developed a typical Partagás strength lager.

Burning / ash:
The medium-gray ash forms a solid cylinder with a cracked, stripy surface.

Partagás - Serie E No. 2 (Jun 2011)

It was written a lot about the new E No. 2. As a sensation and cigar with old style, it was advertised. However, already it was described as very disappointing. Here are my impressions.

Über die neue E No. 2 wurde schon einiges geschrieben. Als Sensation und Zigarre nach altem Stil wurde sie angepriesen. Allerdings auch schon als sehr enttäuschend beschrieben. Hier nun meine Eindrücke.

Optics / Optik:
The colorado colored wrapper is finely structured. It has fine veins and seems to be already slightly greasy.

Das coloradofarbene Deckblatt ist fein strukturiert. Es weist eine feine Aderung auf und wirkt bereits leicht speckig.

Coldsmell / Kaltgeruch:
In cold condition the cigar presents itself quite mild. Aromas of cocoa and dried fruit underline the impression.

In kaltem Zustand präsentiert sich die Zigarre recht mild. Aromen von Kakao und Trockenobst unterstreichen den Eindruck.

1st third / 1. Drittel:
The cigar starts very mild and creamy. Unusually for a young cigar and almost unbelievable for a Partagás, which is better known as a strong cigar. The light wood tone is perfectly complemented by nutty aromas.

Die Zigarre startet sehr mild und cremig. Ungewöhlich für eine junge Zigarre und noch ungewöhlicher für eine Partagás, die eher für eine ausgeprägte Stärke bekannt ist. Der leicht hölzerne Grundton wird durch nussige Aromen perfekt ergänzt.

2nd third / 2. Drittel:
Also to the middle part, the cigar remains very mild and creamy. The wooden-nutty basic theme remains to be preserved too but the cigar becomes much spicier.

Auch zur Mitte hin bleibt die Zigarre sehr mild und cremig. Das hölzern-nussige Grundthema bleibe weiter erhalten, jedoch wird die Zigarre deutlich würziger.

3rd third / 3. Drittel:
Towards the end, the cigar pushed again. The woody flavors appear much more complex and spicy, without specific flavors were touchable. Very well balanced and never boring.

Zum Ende hin legt die Zigarre noch einmal zu. Die holzigen Aromen wirken deutlich komplexer und würziger, ohne dass konkrete Aromen fassbar wären. Sehr gut ausbalanciert und nie langweilig.

Burning, ash / Abbrand, Asche:
The burn-up and the structure of the ash can only be described as exemplary. Uniform, circular burn with a very good stability ash. Nice pronounced firecone.
(But I had already E No. 2s with a terrible tunneling fire.)

Der Abbrand und die Struktur der Asche kann nur als mustergültig bezeichnet werden. Gleichmäßig, kreisrunder Abbrand bei einer sehr guten Aschestabilität. Schön ausgeprägter Glutkegel.
(Ich hatte aber auch schon Exemplare mit einem fürchterlichen Tunnelbrand.)

Conclusion / Fazit:
I like the cigar. Sure, it does not apply to everyone's taste, but, I believe, that that has never been the idea behind the tobacco blend.
I can imagine that the E No. 2 has an extraordinary aging potential. Just a pity that it is not offered in a 25-cabinet.

Ich mag die Zigarre. Sicher, sie trifft nicht jedermanns Geschmack, aber das war, glaube ich, auch noch nie die Idee hinter dem Blend.
Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass die E2 ein außergewöhnliches Agingpotential besitzt. Nur schade, dass sie nicht in einem 25er-Kabinett angeboten wird.

Optics / Optik:
The bright Colorado wrapper has lost all shine and looks dull and lifeless. The foot is slightly bent.
Die Optik der kleinen Perfecto spricht mich wenig an. Das helle Colorado-Deckblatt hat allen Glanz verloren und sieht stumpf und matt aus. Das Brandende ist leicht gebogen.

Coldsmell / Kaltgeruch:
What is missing in the cigar optics it compensates with a very tempting smell. Noisette and Hazelnut are the sweet fundamentals. Mild and creamy.

Was der Zigarre an Optik fehlt, macht sie mit einem sehr verführerischen Kaltgeruch wieder wett. Haselnuss und Noisette bilden den süßen Grundton. Mild und sahnig.

1st third / 1. Drittel:
Contrary to the impression of mild smell the cigar starts quite spicy and earthy. Together with the dry feeling of the smoke reminds the first third of dusty earth. But slight parsley flavors give a juicy twist.

Entgegen dem milden Geruchseindruck startet die Zigarre recht würzig und erdig. Zusammen mit dem trockenen Eindruck des Rauches erinnert das 1. Drittel an staubige Erde. Leichte Petersilienaromen geben allerdings gleichzeitig einen saftigen Touch.

2nd third / 2. Drittel:
The middle, if there is something like a second Third in such a short cigar, is straight woody. Laurel and black tea are the aromatic components.

Die Mitte, wenn man bei einer so kurzen Zigarre überhaupt von so etwas wie einem 2. Drittel reden kann, wirkt holzig. Lorbeer und schwarzer Tee bilden dabei die aromatischen Komponenten.

3rd third / 3. Drittel:
Towards the end the smoke was dominated by strong roasted flavors. That reminds of espresso and burnt toast. As in the previous smoke provide aromatic herbs for variety.

Gegen Ende überwiegen kräftige Röstaromen, welche an Espresso und verbrannten Toast erinnern. Wie schon im gesamten vorangegangenen Rauchverlauf sorgen auch am Ende aromatische Kräuter für Abwechslung.

Strength / Stärke:
Despite the age, the small cigar an amazing strength. I would not expect from such an old short filler. I won't imagine what strength the cigar would have been in a fresh state.

Trotz des Alters weist das Zigärrchen eine erstaunliche Stärke auf. Das hätte ich bei einem so alten Shortfiller nicht erwartet. Ich mag mir gar nicht vorstellen, was die Zigarre in frischem Zustand "gekonnt" hätte.

Burning, ash / Abbrand, Asche:
Beautiful, even combustion.
Dark gray ash with a closed surface. Slightly striped with a good stability.

Schöner, gleichmäßiger Abbrand.
Dunkelgraue Asche mit geschlossener Oberfläche. Leicht streifig mit einer guten Stabilität.

Conclusion / Fazit:
An honest short-smoke, that can't hide his Cuban origin. Although the humidity of the cigar was at 75%, a higher humidity would be probably good. I will test myself with one of the remaining sticks.

Ein ehrlicher Kurz-Smoke, der seine kubanische Herkunft wahrlich nicht verstecken kann. Obwohl bereits bei 75% RLF geraucht, täte der Zigarre eine höhere Feuchtigkeit wahrscheinlich gut. Ich werde das mir einem der verbeleibenden Exemplare mal testen.

Coldsmell / Kaltgeruch:
Initially noticed the flowery, fresh cold smell. I don't expect that at a 13-year-old machinemade cigar. Slight toasted hazelnut-shell to mixed with aromatic, white chocolate and fresh sawdust.

Anfangs fällt sofort der blumige, frische Kaltgeruch auf. Hätte ich bei einer 13 Jahre alten Maschinenzigarre so eher nicht erwartet. Leichte Röstaromen nach Haselnussschale mischen sich mit aromatischer, weißer Schokolade und frischen Sägespänen.

Burning, ash / Abbrand, Asche:

Silver-gray ash with a closed surface. From time to time there is a "ash-fiber" protruding out of the surface. Slightly stained. Good stability.

Schöner, gleichmäßiger Abbrand.
Silbergraue Asche mit geschlossener Oberfläche. Ab und zu steht mal eine Faser ab. Leicht fleckig. Gute Stabilität.

1st third / 1. Drittel:
The flavors of the cold smell are also reflected in the first few turns. Freshly baked pastry, caramel and chocolate. Supplemented with aromatic aromas of cedar-wood and sandalwood. This always very flowery. Reminiscent of orchids.

Die Aromen des Kaltgeruchs finden sich auch in den ersten Zügen wieder. Frisch gebackener Mürbteig, Karamell und Schokolade. Ergänzt durch aromatisch-hölzerne Aromen nach Zeder und Sandelholz. Dazu immer wieder recht blumig. Erinnert an Orchideen.

2nd third / 2. Drittel:
This trend continues in the second third gone. Delicious and spicy wood. For this, the floral aromas of herbs and wild flowers fit. Velvety, creamy smoke.

Diese Entwicklung setzt sich im 2. Drittel fort. Lecker hölzern und würzig. Dazu passen die floralen Aromen nach Kräutern und Wildblumen. Samtig-cremiger Rauch.

3rd third / 3. Drittel:
As expected, the flavors are out to end more robust. Moderate roasted flavors are reminiscent of strong toasted bread. The cigar becomes strong earthy. Simultaneously, the floral aromas of wild grasslands continue to be found in the creamy-buttery smoke.
The finals will begin with fresh menthol notes.

Erwartungsgemäß werden die Aromen zum Ende hin robuster. Mittelstarke Röstaromen erinnern an kräftig geröstetes Toastbrot. Dazu zeigt sich die Zigarre kräftig erdig. Gleichzeitig finden sich die floralen Wildwiesen-Aromen nach wie vor im cremig-buttrigen Rauch.
Das Finale wird durch frische Menthol-Noten eingeleitet.

Conclusion / Fazit:
Wow! A great little cigar, on which the machinemaking do not necessarily remarks.
Too bad that there are no longer so many.

Wow! Eine tolle, kleine Zigarre, der man die Maschinenfertigung nicht unbedingt anmerkt.
Schade, dass es nicht mehr so viele gibt.
