First impression / Erster Eindruck:
An optically very appealing cigar. The classic, colorado-colored wrapper has a silky sheen. It is finely structured and shows only a few small leaf veins. In terms of quality, it makes a high-quality impression.
The quite sweet-aromatic cold smell of honey and some cedar wood goes well with it. Additionally I feel reminded of overripe plums and banana.
Eine optisch sehr ansprechende Zigarre. Das klassische, coloradofarbene Deckblatt weist einen seidigen Glanz auf. Es ist fein strukturiert und zeigt nur wenige kleine Blattadern. Qualitativ macht es einen hochwertigen Eindruck.
Dazu passt der recht süß-aromatische Kaltgeruch nach Honig und etwas Zedernholz. Zusätzlich fühle ich mich an überreife Pflaumen und Banane erinnert.
1st half / 1. Hälfte:Contrary to the sweet cold smell, the cigar starts with strong wood aromas and a subtle caramel note. This results in a slightly bitter impression. The aromas of black coffee go excellently with this. The small cigar develops a good volume of smoke.
Anders als der süßliche Kaltgeruch vermuten lässt, startet die Zigarre mit kräftigen Holzaromen und einer hintergründigen Karamellnote. Dadurch ergibt sich ein leicht herber Eindruck. Dazu passen die Aromen nach schwarzem Kaffee vorzüglich. Die kleine Zigarre entwickelt ein ordentliches Rauchvolumen.
2nd half / 2. Hälfte:
Towards the middle, the smoke becomes considerably creamier with decreasing woodiness. However, the tart basic impression remains. In addition there is a slightly aromatic hot note of black pepper.
Towards the end, slight bitter notes round off the smoking experience.
Zur Mitte hin wird der Rauch mit abnehmender Holzigkeit deutlich cremiger. Der herbe Grundeindruck bleibt aber erhalten. Hinzukommt eine leicht aromatisch-scharfe Note nach schwarzem Pfeffer.
Zum Ende hin runden dann wieder leichte Bitternoten den Rauchgenuss ab.
Conclusion / Fazit:A surprisingly different cigar that is worth to be tasted.
Eine überraschend andere Zigarre, die es wert ist, probiert zu werden.
