Optics / Optik:
The Regional is set in a immaculate colorado. The optically excellent wrapper has a very smooth surface without any unevenness and visible veins. A very pleasant cigar.
Die Regionales zeigt sich in einem makellosen Colorado. Das optisch hervorragende Deckblatt hat eine sehr glatte Oberfläche ohne jede Unebenheit und sichtbare Adern. Eine sehr ansprechende Zigarre.
Coldsmell / Kaltgeruch
In the first moment inconspicuous and mild. A pleasing coldsmell, slightly nutty with woody hints.
Im ersten Moment recht unauffällig und mild. Ein gefälliger Kaltgeruch, leicht nussig mit holzigen Andeutungen.
1st third / 1. Drittel:
The small punch starts mild and spicy. In contrast to the cold smell flavors of leather are noticeable here. These are complemented by a subtle oak spice and some marzipan. Especially the marzipan irritated me a little. I had that impression with other cigars only in the last third.
Die kleine Punch startet mild-würzig. Im Gegensatz zum Kaltgeruch sind hier Lederaromen feststellbar. Ergänzt werden diese durch eine hintergründige Holznote und etwas Marzipan. Besonders letzteres irritiert mich etwas, da ich diesen Eindruck bei anderen Zigarren bisher nur im letzten Drittel hatte.
2nd third / 2. Drittel:
In the middle section the cigar becomes increasingly nutty. Sweet and floral aromas underline the aromatic character.
Im mittleren Bereich wird die Zigarre zunehmend nussiger. Süßlich-blumige Aromen unterstreichen den aromatischen Charakter.
3rd third / 3. Drittel:
In the last third of the Hermoso No.4 is expected to be slightly stronger. Here dominateas a woody aroma that reminiscent of beech wood. However, the punch remains relatively mild. But here, the floral aromas from the central part remain present. Aromas of roasted almonds ensure delicious aromas.
Additional mint flavors come to the end which provide a fresh conclusion.
Im letzten Drittel wird die Hermosos No.4 erwartungsgemäß etwas kräftiger. Hier dominieren holzige Aromen, die an Buchenholz erinnern. Dennoch bleibt die Punch relativ mild. Aber auch hier bleiben die blumigen Aromen aus dem Mittelteil präsent. Aromen nach gebrannten Mandeln sorgen für leckere Röstaromen.
Zum Schluss kommen zusätzlich Minzaromen auf, die für einen frischen Abschluß sorgen.
Burning, ash / Abbrand, Asche:
The cigar ash forms a very stable with a flat firecone. The surface is smooth and concluded, the color white to light gray. I must confess such a perfect ash I hadn't for a long time with a Cuban cigar.
Die Zigarre bildet eine sehr stabile Asche mit einem flachen Glutkegel aus. Die Oberfläche ist glatt und geschlossen, die Farbe weiß bis hellgrau. Ich muss gestehen, eine solch perfekte Asche hatte ich bei einer kubanischen Zigarre schon länger nicht mehr.
