Optics / Optik:
Despite a few clearly visible veins, the fine wrapper looks very attractive. As its name suggests, it is maduro-coloured, but despite a silky sheen it appears somewhat matt. All in all a very appealing appearance.
Obwohl es ein paar gut sichtbare Adern aufweist, wirkt das feine Deckblatt sehr ansprechend. Erwartungsgemäß ist es dem Namen entsprechend madurofarben, erscheint jedoch trotz eines seidigen Glanzes etwas matt. Alles in Allem ein sehr ansprechendes Äußeres.
Cold smell / Kaltgeruch:
In the first impression the cold smell appears very creamy with a nice chocolate note. Furthermore I notice smells of roasted hazelnuts and almonds. In the background I note an aromatic spice of garden herbs and a smell that I would describe as fleshy.
Im ersten Eindruck wirkt der Kaltgeruch sehr sahnig mit einer schönen Schokoladennote. Weiterhin stelle ich Gerüche nach gerösteten Haselnüssen und Mandeln fest. Hintergründig bemerke ich ein aromatische Würze nach Gartenkräutern und einen Geruch, den ich als fleischig beschreiben würde.
1st third / 1. Drittel:The Robusto starts deliciously creamy and mild. Nevertheless, the aromas of wood, coffee and oriental spices dominate. Retronasal the smoke slightly tingles in the nose.
The cigar captivates with a complex and dense bouquet.
Die Robusto startet lecker cremig und mild. Trotzdem dominieren eher herbe Aromen nach Holz, Kaffee und orientalischen Gewürzen. Retronasal prickelt der Rauch etwas in der Nase.
Die Zigarre besticht durch ein komplexes und dichtes Aromenspiel.
2nd third / 2. Drittel:
In the middle part, the coffee aromas are clearly prominent. They remind me of a Cortado (espresso with foamed milk). Still very creamy and aromatic. This impression is underlined by nutty aromas of Noisette.
Im mittleren Teil treten die Kaffeearomen deutlich hervor. Sie erinnern mich an einen Cortado (Espresso mit aufgeschäumter Milch). Nach wie vor sehr cremig und aromatisch. Unterstrichen wird dieser Eindruck durch nussige Aromen nach Noisette.
3rd third / 3. Drittel:The extremely tasty aromas are also retained in the last third. The cigar develops minimally tart aromas of wood and some chestnut.
Die äußerst leckeren Aromen bleiben auch im letzten Drittel erhalten. Die Zigarre entwickelt minimal herbere Aromen nach Holz und etwas Kastanie.
Conclusion / Fazit:
An extremely tasty cigar that gives both beginners and "old hands" a creamy and aromatic pleasure. Very dense and complex, it offers always new facets, even when enjoyed repeatedly.
Ein äußerst lecker Zigarre, die sowohl Anfängern als auch „alten Hasen“ einen cremigen und aromatischen Genuss bereitet. Sehr dicht und komplex bietet sie auch bei wiederholtem Genuss immer wieder neue Facetten.
